A lot of us would probably like to do this to our classics. If you have this kind of money to put into an investment that will yield a negative return when you go to sell it, why not. If you are young and put that money into an IRA or 401K, by the time you reach my age, you'll be able to buy the street rod of your chosing :) I wasn't that smart, so I decided to rebuild my own front suspension with the best parts I could find. I've done one wheel/A-frame/shock/brake and the results are pleasing. If I win The Big Game, you're all invited to come use my state of the art restoration shop, hehe. I won't be there, I'll be driving around in my '56 Adventurer sitting on a Viper undercarriage. -bg
