I am now looking for a competent machine shop to line ream the bushings in the kingpin. But, (and here's the kicker...) I was looking in the service manual, and the cars equipped with power steering are supposed to have an o-ring seal at the bottom of the top bronze bushing on the steering knuckle. does anyone know why there should be an oring on power steering cars and no o-ring on manual steering cars??
