Hey Bob, The only dumb questions are the ones that aren't asked. An exhaust systems enemy is heat. The cast iron manifolds once heated cause a restriction of air flow since they're more or less ovens. The steel tube headers are less restrictive since they dissipate heat faster. As to the Spitfire headers, the design has changed. They are of the tri-y configuration now which are far superior in design. As to Mopar Muscle, the test wasn't on a poly 318 set of headers. I think it was for a set of A motor headers and stock T/A manifolds. No problem on the tip, I reward the advertisers or folks that do good for me and I'll damn the bad ones just the same.
