ALL of the front end suspension, steering and brake components were changed in 1962, and the '60-'61 unibodies have bolt-on front subframes whereas the '62-'65 "B-bodies" are true unit construction. The GOOD news is that your '61 has a lot more room under the hood than '62-'65 models. Assuming you're using a Mopar B (big block wedge) V8, Hooker C-body headers are pretty much a bolt-in (the application would be '65-'68 fullsize Plymouth-Dodge models with B V8).
