I just bought a NOS set for a poly 318. A leaflet crumbling away inside the box informs me they "must" be cam ground. This is a new concept to me, as I'm accustomed to just shoving pistons into blocks having looked to see which way round they are. What's the deal with cam grinding, and is this going to be a hassle? Are these pistons a good idea for a rebuild? They were inexpensive, and they're brand new.
