DEFINITELY save that manifold! As far as repairing it, it sounds feasible, but the cost is up to whomever is doing it in your area. A single 4-barrel manifold is really better for a street car anyway, in 1957 the carbs didn't have the C.F.M. (cubic fee per minute) that they do now) so they had to use dual 4's on a lot of hig performance engines. Nowadays you can have 900+ HP and a single 4-barrel (if you have enough money!).
