If your sure that the cable is adjusted properly and your neutral button is pushed connect a test light or meter from the hot side of the battery to the switcth terminal if you don't get a light or 12 volts and you are sure that the cable is correct then you may have to machine off up to 1/32 of an inch off the face of the switch in order for it to make or if you are sure the car is in neutral then you can hook a jumper wire to the sending unit wire and to ground and try to start the car hope this helps swanny
